If you choose to listen to the podcast, it will take a few seconds for it to load so give it some time. The podcast will talk about how we should put three laws into control regarding back round checks when purchasing guns.I agree that we do this, it will help a lot.An interesting aspect that was said was that the government was afraid of getting labeled as anti gun, because they don't want to make the gun organizations angry, this is something they shouldn't be afraid of.Podcast was made thanks to Seattle's Police Chief, and Austin Jankens, and to thanks to plugged.com.

In the survey that I conducted shows that many of the students think we need a better gun control. Surprisingly the ones that gave me the most that siad yes were 11th graders.Other then that the other grades were nearly the same.My data also tells me that males now more about the gun control laws and system then females. Another survey that was conducted shows that people think its more important to control gun ownership then to protect the rights of those with guns.It also tells me that more people want to band the sale of gun ownership while only some are against this band.It also tells me that most of the shootings are done by men. This is what my survey shows, those who want a better gun control system.

Gun Violence

78 percent of homicides are used by guns. Most of the time they are hand guns. The ones that are doing the killing have had previous criminal records. And most the time the ones that have been shot and killed have also had a criminal back round.60 percent of homicides are also caused by guns. 9 out of 13 studies show that the victim used a gun in his or hers own death. In the last 30 years gun sales have gone up by 50 percent. Since 1970 the homicide and suicide rate has gone up and the number of guns being made have gone up too.Gun violence in school has grown to. Everyone remembers the Columbine shootings. Were three kids that had a number ofguns and for a whole day killed many people. Of 20,000 schools 20 percent have reported a on campus gun shooting. In the past years school shootings have increased and more kids are getting killed with guns. Most of the shootings are being done by those in gangs and those with a history off violence. If we know who( those with a history of violence) is doing the shooting why do we keep sailing and giving them the guns. The more guns being made the more the death rate by guns is going to increase as well. If we want the gun violence to stop why dont we just stop making them.

Gun control

In this blog we will be talking about gun control and gun violence. The blog will explain who's trying to stop the gun control acts and who are trying to enforce them, also what gun control would do to help the living environment of the people. We will also focus on how gun control will be bad for the environment. Gun control has been around for ages, in 1934 a strict gun act was set stating that strict registration requirements were to be taken when buying machine and long barreled gun.In 1968 the Gun Control Act was put into effect saying minors and those with a criminal record could not perches guns. Organizations try and in force these laws but it doesn't seem like their trying hard. Every time we turn on the news its always, theres been a shooting, people have died from a shooting. Some like the National Rifle Association are not helping the cause by disagreeing with these laws.If we could in force these laws life wouldn't be were it is today. Most deaths in the U.S. come from gun violence. Most being gang activity. We all remember the shooting of Columbine High school massacre were kids were murdered by there own class mates. They brought a number of rifles and hand guns to school and killed over 50 people. If we could have stoped the purchasing of these guns I might have never happened. We just need to start enforcing these laws and making adjustments for the future. If we don't take action now the problem will only get worse.
